The 2024 FIFA Club World Cup will be a highly anticipated event, with 24 teams from around the world competing across 12 stadiums in the United States from June 15 to July 13. FIFA has now released the complete schedule for the tournament.
Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid, two of Europe’s top clubs, will be among the headline participants. Real Madrid will make their debut against Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal on June 18 in Miami, while Atlético Madrid will face off against French champions Paris Saint-Germain on June 15 in Los Angeles.
The scheduling poses some challenges for Atlético Madrid, whose group stage matches will primarily take place on the West Coast, requiring more travel and time zone adjustments. However, their opening game against PSG will kick off at a convenient 3 p.m. ET time slot for East Coast fans.
In contrast, Real Madrid’s group stage fixtures will all be on the East Coast, with their debut in Miami and second game in Charlotte both starting at 3 p.m. ET. Their final group match against Salzburg in Philadelphia will be played in the evening at 9 p.m. ET.
